| The Royal Palace is situated in Buda on the southern part of Castle Hill. The medieval palace that stood here was destroyed by Turkish invaders about 400 - 500 years ago. Learning only the shell of the fort as a memory. The site has become the home for the Baroque Palace started by Maria Theresa and added to over the following years. The second World War which destroyed any trace of the once elegant and historical suites used by generations of past royals. |

| The Castle District is one of the most beautiful and romantic parts of Budapest with picturesque houses. Narrow gaslight winding streets colourful little houses some decorated with Gothic windows. There are many fine examples of medieval hoses and streets. Lose yourselves in the atmospheric feeling of time. |
| In the Castle District centre can you find Trinity square with a column statue named Holy Trinity. The Mathias Church, maybe the most beautiful church in Hungary stands here in the square too. You will see some great restaurants and shops in the area. |
| The Fishermen’s Bastion was a fish market in 1905. This is where the name comes from. Today it is an excellent place for tourist. Here you can find a great view the whole of Pest including the Danube. |


| Margaret Island located in the middle of Margaret Bridge and Arpád Bridge. This island is the peaceful and green heard of Budapest. A long time ago there where three islands here but they were united in the river regulation project in the 19th century. The island is about 2500 meters long and 500 meters wide and rich in thermal water. Here is the one of the best spas of the capital. The island was already inhabited during the Roman times. This was the preferred place for friars and hunting area for the kings in the middle age. The island gave the name of Princess Margaret who was the daughter of King Béla IV. Margit lived here in a cloister after the rampage of Tatars hordes who ravaged Hungary in the 13th century. The Cloister was destroyed by Turkish occupation in the 15th century. The island renewed in the 19th century as an entertainment center with parks for the townsman. The embankment was built also in that time secures the buildings, parks and people. |

| Váci Street Probably the most expensive street in Budapest pedestrianised over 20 years ago it’s a must to see for visitors. The houses were built in the 19th and the early 20th century. It is the most elegant shopping center in town. You can find here some talented street busker's and painters too but never change money on the street. Enjoy the feeling and the atmosphere of the city |


| The Parliament was built during the millennium (1885-1906) and became today a symbol of Budapest and for the whole country. It is an excellent neo-Gothic architecture view of the panorama of the Danube bank. Decorated with 88 statues, 268 meters long and covers an area about 18.000 square m. |
