Municipal Zoo and Botanic Garden

The Zoo and Gardens one of the most
popular attractions of the City Park
where rare and exotic creatures can be
founded and the architectural design of
the Elephant house is worth seeing
alone.

The Grand Circus

in the City Park at XIV Állatkerti körút 7
(metro: Széchenyi Fürdő), has
performances on Saturday and Sunday
at 10 a.m.; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
and Saturday at 3 p.m.; and Wednesday,
Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m.
(closed in summer). During the day the
performances are usually booked out by
school groups. Although in the evening
there usually no problem getting
tickets.    
Amusement Park

Just past the Circus big top you will find
one of the oldest Fun Fair in Europe. Small
compact and friendly.

Planetarium

(metro: Népliget) features exciting laser light shows to the
accompaniment of rock music.
Track the paths of the planets and stars as seen from Earth.
There are usually shows held from Tuesday to Sunday at
9.30am, 11am, 1pm, 2:30pm, 4pm,  and 9 p.m.
The Tropicarium

Situated i the Campona Shopping Centre. The Tropicarium
houses a large aquarium including sharks alligators and
miniature rain forest that should keep the kids entertained for
hours.

HUNGARIAN RAILWAY HISTORY PARK

Everything for the train buff get to drive a stream engine. Operate
some model railways. Visit the static displays of stream and rail
locomotives and carriages plus regular children programmes.
